The Heart, just south of the city of Lincoln in the Countryside South area, this is rural England at its very best – a perfect base to make the most of Lincolnshire’s incredible aviation heritage and historic landscapes. Nestled in the heart of Lincolnshire, North Kesteven has much to offer; endless countryside, bustling market towns including Sleaford and charming villages – there’s plenty to see and do whatever the weather!
The county town of Lincolnshire, offering a unique, heritage experience filled with historical arts and culture. Fortified by Lincoln Castle and crowned by one of Europe’s finest examples of Gothic architecture, Lincoln Cathedral stands tall as an iconic structure in the City, home to the prominent Magna Carta.
With towns such as Skegness, Maplethorpe, Cleethorpes and Grimsby, why not grab a bucket and spade and head down to The Coast of Lincolnshire, filled will amusement parks, remarkable nature and sandy beaches, get ready for some good old fashioned fun!
Situated in the south-west region of Lincolnshire, The Vales offers towns such as Grantham, Bourne, Stamford and Market Deeping. Think mellow stone villages and fluorescent countryside, packed with ancient castles and magnificent historical homes such as Burghley House, one of the largest and grandest houses of the first Elizabethan Age.
The Fens offer a thriving landscape rich in waterways and countryside including Spalding, a beautiful, friendly, bustling market town just located south of the historically immersive Boston, a gem found on the edge of the famous Wash.
This is Tennyson Country, countryside that literally inspired poetry, as well as home to Louth, Woodhall Spa, Horncastle, Barton Upon Humber, Caistor, Alford, Spilsby and Market Rasen. If you love the Great Outdoors, you’ll love the Lincolnshire Wolds.
