Take a Spin around Lincolnshire

Whether on two wheels, four wheels or no wheels at all… get a new perspective on your holiday or short break by discovering Lincolnshire from a different vantage point.

1. On two wheels…

Inspired by the British Cycling Championships in Lincoln this summer? It may have tested some of Britain’s top cyclists, but there are plenty more leisurely routes to cycle. Try the Water Rail Way or Witham Valley Country Park. For a challenge, head for the Lincolnshire Wolds… or there’s always the annual Lincoln Grand Prix each June.

2. On four wheels …

Looking for a bit more adrenaline-fuelled adventure? How about a spot of quad biking or karting? Head for Ancaster Karting, on the outskirts of Grantham, and experience both. Want to race around Silverstone or Brands Hatch? For a spin with a real difference race around world-famous race tracks… with Scalextric-Racing at Spalding.

3. No wheels at all…

Horse riding more your thing? Go cross-country in glorious countryside or gallop along a near-deserted beach. How about a holiday with your horse? Bring your four-legged friend with you! Take a look at Field Farm or Orchard Farm Riding Holidays, both close to Skegness, or Canter-Hallington in Louth, set at the foot of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
