Visitor Attractions
We know from our research that visitors like to know that when they go out for the day, to visit an attraction and spend money, the attraction will meet your expectations. The national Visitor Attraction Qualtiy Assurance Scheme (VAQAS) assesses attractions to these standards.
Being accredited gives attractions a powerful marketing tool that tells visitors you have been checked out before they visit plus:
• Reassures your visitors of what to expect • Opens the door to ’piggyback’ onto our Lincolnshire marketing • Increases your visitor numbers
The Scheme covers all attractions from museums and historical attractions to wildlife experiences and white knuckle rides.
From 1st April 2008 a new Code of Practice for Visitor Attractions was introduced and sets minimum standards of service provision, accountability and sustainable management.
To find out more on both of the above and how you can gain the accreditation, how much etc go to www.vaqas.org.uk
