The Lincolnshire Vales

Visit the gateway to one of England's largest and most enthralling counties. The Vales in the south west of the county borders Rutland, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, East Northants and Cambridgeshire which offers visitors a good road network to travel around the area.

The Vales offer beautiful rolling countryside bordering onto fertile fens combining historical houses and castles, ancient market towns and chocolate box villages. There are a wide range of golfing opportunities in the area, from championship standard 18 holes through to smaller rural courses.

There are lots of activities available in The Vales - coarse and fly-fishing are available with many lakes, reservoirs and rivers in the area. Enjoy our town and cycle trails, guided walks, the Stamford ghost walk, the Grantham canal and countryside walks.

There are four main towns for you to enjoy Stamford, Grantham, Bourne and Market Deeping, and many picturesque country villages.
