Beaches
Stretching thirty miles from Cleethorpes to Gibraltar Point, Lincolnshire’s golden beaches are rated among the best in the world: there are three Blue Flag beaches in Lincolnshire; Mablethorpe, Skegness and Sutton-on-Sea.

With miles of sandy stretches lapped by a shallow tide, Lincolnshire’s beaches are the ideal playground for families. Bring a picnic, set up camp for the day and enjoy the vast expanses of sand and sea; go beachcombing, paddling or even for a swim! Climb the dunes, build a sandcastle and take the dog for a lovely long walk. Head to Skegness or Cleethorpes for the best in family beaches.
As well as our busy seaside resort beaches we also have some fantastic quiet beaches with a wilder side. The sleepy village of Anderby Creek has a gorgeous natural beach which is favourite of many Lincolnshire visitors for its peaceful atmosphere and unspoilt setting. The beach at Gibraltar Point is also worth a visit if you’re after some solitude surrounded by nature and wildlife.
