Add Stamford Riverside Festival-3rd & 4th July 2010 to your Itinerary

2010 sees Riverside celebrate our 10th Anniversary under the Riverside branding, although the festival can trace it's roots back to the early 1980's under various names including Music on the Meadows.

In the early years the festival was simply a case of a couple of bands playing off the back of a lorry! Today it is still at heart an event organised by the community for the community, but it now attracts visitors from all over the UK as well. In 2009 Riverside had an on site audience of over 17,500 people with footfall of over 46,000 people across the day.

Due to the amazing growth in audience numbers in recent years, for 2010 the event is being extended to run over two days and will feature even more music and entertainment. The festival is a fun day out for the whole family and aims to offer something for audiences of all ages from toddlers to pensioners. Riverside is now widely recognised as one of the best events of its kind in the East Midlands.
