Golf Courses Lincolnshire

Whether you’re a skilled golfer or an amateur enthusiast, Lincolnshire is perfectly teed up to offer a golf break at any time of the year.
From an annual society meeting to a few social rounds with friends and family, the home of English golf, Lincolnshire, has a great selection of golf courses, some superb accommodation and a whole world of hidden attractions to keep you occupied for your entire visit.
With courses dating back to 1890 golf has always been part of Lincolnshire’s allure as a golfing hotspot. Burghley Park Golf Club is the oldest of these and, situated in the magnificent parkland surrounding Burghley House, is as good a test today as it has ever been.
With a host of other clubs having celebrated their centenary we’ve got historic golf courses galore but it’s not all about heritage and here in Lincolnshire as we now have a mouthwatering selection of almost 60 golf courses to tempt and test your golfing skills.
With the home of the English Golf Union based at Woodhall Spa and the European headquarters of the internationally renowned manufacturer Ping at Gainsborough we are suitably blessed with some of the best facilities in the country. If you combine this with our links to one of the game’s greatest names – two time major winner and 4-time Ryder Cup Captain Tony Jacklin – we hope that some of Lincolnshire’s great pedigree rubs off during your visit.
So no matter how good or wayward your golf game is, just to relax on our tree lined fairways under the big Lincolnshire skies will lift the spirit. And don’t forget at the end of a tough day you can always analyse those missed putts in one of our welcoming clubhouses.
