If 18-holes is not your cup of tea and you prefer the relative speed of 9-holes then look no further than Lincolnshire for a golfing break that combines the best courses and still leaves you time for a bit of sight-seeing every day.

With over 20% of the golf courses in Lincolnshire offering a speedier round of golf you are spoilt for choice when it comes to deciding where to play.

In and around Lincoln City you have several golf courses – all within easy reach of the magnificent Cathedral city centre. On the outskirts you will find Lincoln Golf Centre,  an easy going course and one of the newest in the county.  Further out of the city there are 9-hole courses at Owmby, Pottergate and Martin Moor which also allow you to combine a morning on the fairways with a trip to the heart of our historic and vibrant city.

Heading east towards the coast there is another cluster of courses which will allow you to enjoy more golfing delights coupled with a day on Lincolnshire’s golden sandy beaches. Just outside the thriving seaside town of Skegness lies Southview Park – a holiday resort complete with 9-hole course.

Following the coast further south you will find one of the county’s 9-hole gems at Sutton Bridge which is constructed in and around a late nineteenth century dock basin.
