Golf Course Styles - Links, Parkland, Heathland

If you book your golf days out and holidays more by the type of course than the location or reputation then lincolnshiregolfbreaks.com has made sure that you can find all the courses by type. From challenging links to picturesque parkland and heathland courses.

Starting on the coast we have a selection of great links courses which really test your game – especially when the north sea wind blows in. Seacroft and Sandilands are pure 18 hole links courses and with half the course at North Shore played on links fairways you won’t struggle to find one to suit you. If you prefer links style without the wind then step inland and try Woodhall Spa or Lincoln Golf Club – they are definitely two of our best.

If you like the challenge of driving the ball down tight tree lined fairways then Lincolnshire has plenty of choice. From Normanby Hall or Forest Pines in the north to Sleaford or Stoke Rochford in the south; Louth or Kenwick Park in the east to Canwick Park and Carholme in the west there are too many to mention.

With a smaller selection of heathland and meadowland courses to complete the line up there won’t be any shortage of choice when planning your trip - and playing a different style every day will give you another reason to come back again and again.
