Gainsborough Golf Club

This venue boasts two, quality 18 hole courses with challenges suitable for golfers of all abilities.  

The Thonock Course is a traditional parkland course, whilst Karsten Lakes is an American style layout with numerous large bunkers and lakes to catch those wayward drives.  The club provides an excellent opportunity to play 36 holes on two contrasting styles of course.

Both courses have an excellent reputation for the quality of presentation, in particular the quality of the greens which are playable all year round due to the excellent drainage infrastructure and ongoing maintenance practices.

Ping Academy

The academy has state of the art teaching technology and all the professionals provide tuition in a relaxed and enjoyable environment.  Steve Cooper, Head Golf Professional at Gainsborough Golf Club, is one of the top 25 coaches in the UK.  A wide range of group and individual classes are available.  The Ping Golf Academy has an excellent reputation for developing its pupils and has a long list of individual and team honours.

Driving Range

The 12 bay floodlit range is open to members and non-members 7 days a week.  With dedicated PGA professionals on site and indoor video room, the range is an excellent venue to improve, practice and develop your golf skills.

Golf Shop

The shop supports a wide range of Ping products, with professionals on hand to ensure all clubs are custom fit to each golfer using Ping's unique custom-fit philosophy.  Professional and friendly staff are on hand to discuss all your requirements.
