Stable and Millside cottages are situated in a peaceful location in grounds of some eight and a half acres. Both cottages are of a high specification whilst each has its own lawn and parking areas. In addition to this, both cottages have use of the summer house situated by the beck and the barbeque area.

Each cottage has underfloor heating, gas fired cooking, fitted units in the bedrooms and kitchens. They also have bathrooms with both bath and shower facilities whilst offering fully equipped kitchens and comfortable lounge and dining areas.

The bedroom in the cottages can be set up as two single or one super king bed, as requested, whilst the second bedroom in Stable Cottage is equipped with double bed and fitted wardrobe.

The grounds include millenium wood and provide the opportunity for pleasant evening walks in the sight of the restored watermill. There are also different walks that can be undertaken around the area without needing a vehicle. Only three miles from the cottages are a selection of shops, including a pharmacy and post office.

The cottages are ideally situated for visits to the historic city of Lincoln, the Lincolnshire Wolds, Cranwell and other unique towns and villages in the surrounding areas.

The countryside around Lincoln has a grace of its own. The towns of Gainsborough, Woodhall Spa and Sleaford mark its boundaries, it rubs shoulders with the wolds and fens whilst also being home to the rivers Slea, Witham, Till and Scopwick Beck, on which the watermill is situated.

This is an area visited by kings and poets (including Tennyson), with ancient churches, country houses, lush farmlands and tradition. Its strong aviation heritage attracts visitors from all over the world, with the sound of aircraft; past and present; never far away. The Viking Way (147 miles from North to South) cuts through the gentle rolling countryside as do many footpaths.

It is ideal cycling countryside, has hidden hamlets, ancient woodlands and contrasting landscapes, all rich in history.

Full Lincolnshire breakfasts and cream teas by the millpond (weather permitting) are available on request and are charged extra.
