Accommodation

All accommodation properties on our website have been quality assessed by the AA and/or Visit Britain.

Properties that are awaiting their assessment will be marked as Awaiting Grading. Once assessed, the level of quality grading awarded is represented by a star rating, which is designed to meet expectations of consumers with regards to quality and facilities. At the bottom of every quality logo underneath the stars you will find the type of accommodation, for example Self-Catering or Holiday Park.

Although five stars is the highest quality rating, Hotels and Guest Accommodation are able to achieve a Silver or Gold Award in addition to the star rating. This indicates the highest level of quality in bathrooms, bedrooms and service.
