Featuring an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) the Wolds offers some of the most stunning landscapes and scenery in Lincolnshire.
Characterised by its rolling hills and open valleys, the Lincolnshire Wolds has a deeply rural feel in which the countryside remains largely unspoilt. Where villages and towns exist there is a relaxed pace of life with thriving communities and a welcoming atmosphere.

Visitors seeking breathtaking vistas and a sense of space will appreciate the endless undulations of scarp, patchwork fields, woodlands and rivers that make up this fantastic part of Lincolnshire.
From the highest point of the Lincolnshire Wolds, at 551ft above sea level - known as Wolds Top – there are vast views over the flat Fens below and you can also make out some of our greatest landmarks such as Lincoln Cathedral and Boston Stump.
