Discover a county rich in Industrial Heritage with a visit to one of the many museums and attractions dedicated to fishing heritage, the railways and even a ‘microcar’ museum, a car under 700cc.
The Lincolnshire Road Transport Museum is a historic road transport vehicles of all types dating from the 1920s to the 1980s. Most vehicles have a strong association with Lincolnshire and are in restored condition. Vehicles include cars, lorries, buses and fire engines. These have been collected by the society since its formation in 1959. There are also many displays relating to road transport in the county.

Catch the train at Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway at Kingsway, Lakeside or North Sea Lane Stations and stop off for lunch or afternoon tea along the way. A real treat for a budding engineer or driver, is an experience day where you can help prepare the engine or learn how to drive it.

North Ings Farm Museum is a small agricultural and industrial museum with a Narrow Gauge Railway. The collection includes tractors, oil engines, vintage machinery and fairground organ. Steam and diesel hauled passenger trains, are operated on a 1/3 mile line around the museum
The Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby is a multi-award winning museum recreating Grimsby’s maritime history. Tours include a recreation of a 1950s voyage to fishing grounds, through the trawler, with authentic aromas and moving deck, and scenes from the street and home life of old Grimsby.
