Farm attractions

Lincolnshire is deeply proud of its traditional agricultural roots. With many farming families having lived and worked in the county for generations, it is naturally a good place to explore farm and countryside attractions and enjoy rural activities.

Farm parks offer something for all the family. Younger members can enjoy touching and feeding the animals, or make use of exciting soft-play areas….and kids of all ages can enjoy real home-made dairy ice-cream.

Buy your tickets online for the Butterfly and Wildlife Park in Spalding, a great day out for all the family with one of the largest tropical houses in the counrty, filled with freeflying colourful butterflies surrounding flowering exotic plants and trees.

Rand Farm Park, near Wragby, is only eight miles from Lincoln but in a blissfully peaceful rural spot and gives kids the chance to get up close to the animals. There are a large variety of animals to hold, feed, touch and cuddle and daily activities including lamb/calf feeding and milking. The milking demonstration area provides education on where food comes from, in a ‘hands on’ way.

All creatures great and small are waiting to meet you at Rushmoor Country Park- from a wallaby to a mini pig family, featuring pint sized porkers around the size of a Jack Russell. Plus there are tiny hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, ferrets, guinea pigs and magnificent birds of prey. There's also a tea room, play area and big bouncy castle.

Family Fun at Rushmoor Country Park

The Pink Pig is a mecca for all things foody, celebrating the FARMA farm shop of the year 2006 award.

Browse the well stocked shop proudly displaying homegrown pork, eggs and vegetables, hundreds of local produce from jams to cheese, from lamb to plumbread. Play in ‘huge’ sandpits, get lost in a wooden maze, ride on tractors and fly down a zip wire (if they dare!)
