IBCC Book Festival – Women in War – The Home Front

To mark the unveiling of our new Women in War exhibition at the Memorial Spire, we are delighted to welcome a host of fabulous female authors for our inaugural book festival. The Women in War exhibition features 9 steel silhouettes of incredible women created by the team from Standing With Giants who were responsible for the stunning D-Day display in Normandy in 2024.

The Festival takes place over two days and features a variety of themed sessions.
Hosted by Lincolnshire Chef, passionate gardener and author, Rachel Green, this afternoon tea and talk will feature stories from the home front including from the Women’s Institute. Rachel will work with the IBCC Chefs to create a delicious selection of tempting treats, all served on vintage crockery.
