An Exhibition by Sarah Windle

May 1
1st May 2026 - 15th June 2026

Sarah is a self taught artist, who lives and works in Lincoln.

Her love of art began in pre school, became serious in secondary school and has been a part of her life ever since; taking short breaks here and there to bring up her children along with her husband and now she is an extremely proud Nanny too!

In Sarah's work, she very much wants the viewer to feel they are a part of the painting and not merely a bystander. Her work mainly features soft pastels but she began her art career working in colour pencil. Her work has been described as “emotive and nostalgic”, something which fills her with joy as that is the feeling she hopes to convey. Sarah has been commissioned for many portraits over the years but landscapes have eclipsed that passion at the present time.

In 2022, Sarah was accepted into the Usher open art exhibition and held her first solo exhibition.

This exhibition will run from Friday 1st May to Monday 15th June 2026 in our Cafe Gallery.
