Vulture Awareness Day

In celebration of International Vulture Awareness Day, Baytree Owl and Wildlife Centre will be drawing special attention to the amazing vulture species in their collection in support of vulture conservation charity VulPro.

Meet the endangered African white-backed vultures in a dedicated keeper talk at 13:30 and learn more about how these important and misunderstood birds can be saved from extinction. Plus, there will be two flying demonstrations (12:00 -14:30) featuring appearances from the cape vulture and turkey vulture, as well as a number of fun vulture facts to find while you browse their collection of over 80 owls and birds of prey.
