Visit Lincoln is committed to providing specific COVID-19 business support through this unprecedented time. We are working with our partners at the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership, Business Lincolnshire and the District Councils to bring you the most relevant and important information directly from Government.
From accessing government funding to guidance on the next steps your business should take, tourism businesses are able to access expert advisers who are available to offer advice and support during this challenging time.
A new local Covid 19 helpline (01522 782189) has been set up 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday by the Greater Lincolnshire LEP and Business Lincolnshire. Alternatively, businesses can email: email@example.com to speak to a local business advisor at the Growth Hub.
The aim is to support our business community, gather intelligence and feed information directly back into government during this time. This will be delivered via two functions:
1. Business Support Service
2. Leading a new business intelligence unit
- Actively gathering intelligence so that we can provide the Government with information about the needs of our business community with a united voice.
- Convening local support organisations, business membership organisations and local authorities to facilitate sharing of information and co-ordination of activity on the economy.
- Collating information on the business effects of the outbreak through Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub advisers, local partners and others to provide government with evidence on which to base solutions.
Tourism businesses are encouraged to let us know how COVID-19 is impacting on their business by completing this survey .
Visit Lincoln and Visit Lincolnshire will be updating their websites each week to ensure our partners can access the latest advice and support.
The intelligence we gather from you at this difficult time will not only help us ‘lobby’ Government to ensure that collectively our voices are heard and we can receive the right help, but it will also form the core of our recovery programme for all tourism businesses across Greater Lincolnshire.
