Congratulations, Lincoln City FC – A New Era Begins!

Lincoln is celebrating a truly historic moment: Lincoln City Football Club have secured promotion to the Sky Bet Championship for the 2026/27 season, returning to the second tier of English football for the first time in 65 years after a dramatic 2–1 victory over Reading on Easter Monday.
It’s been a remarkable season of consistency, belief, and resilience — and now the Imps are ready to take on some of the biggest names in the game at the LNER Stadium next season.
 
Of course we’ll be waiting to offer a warm welcome to visiting fans.
 
With Championship football heading back to Lincoln, we’re excited to welcome thousands of visiting supporters to discover everything our beautiful city and wider Lincolnshire has to offer. Next season promises not just thrilling football, but memorable days out for away fans looking to turn match day into a full weekend experience.
