All walks below are under 6 miles, have relatively gentle terrain, and include a mix of way marked paths, village stop-offs, and beautiful views.
1. Tealby Viking Way short

2. Red Hill & Goulceby – In the Footsteps of Kolkr

6. Hubbard’s Hills Walk, Louth

Tucked on the edge of Louth, Hubbard’s Hills is one of Lincolnshire’s most beloved beauty spots – and with good reason. This short, tranquil circular walk takes you through a dramatic glacial valley carved during the last Ice Age, where mature woodland lines the steep sides and the River Lud meanders gently through the middle.
The well-maintained footpaths and bridges make this a peaceful stroll year-round. It’s a popular route for families, dog walkers and those looking for a shaded retreat in summer. The dappled light, the sound of running water, and wide grassy spaces make it ideal for a relaxed walk or picnic.

7. In the Footsteps of Tennyson – Bag Enderby Walk

Follow in the footsteps of one of England’s greatest poets on this serene countryside walk through the Lincolnshire Wolds. Alfred, Lord Tennyson was born nearby in Somersby, and this gentle 2-mile circular route lets you wander through the timeless landscape that inspired his early work.
Starting in the quiet hamlet of Bag Enderby, the walk passes meadows, farm tracks, and ancient hedgerows, with wide views over softly undulating hills. It’s a landscape of stillness and reflection – easy to imagine a young Tennyson finding inspiration here.
