With so much produce homegrown and reared in Lincolnshire, there's no surprise the county is famous for its food and drink.

We have listed some delicious delicacies unique to Lincolnshire – including a sweet treat served with cheese!

1. Lincolnshire Sausages

Traditionally pork sausages with a distinctive taste of sage, parsley, and thyme with a firm, chunky texture.

Available for purchase at Redhill  in the Bail, Uncle Henry’s  farm shop, and selected Lincolnshire Co-op  stores.

2. Plumbread and Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese

A spiced loaf containing dried fruit such as; currants, raisins and sultanas (just no plums!). Served with a mug of tea, plenty of butter and a slice of Lincolnshire poacher cheese.

Available for purchase at selected Lincolnshire Co-op  stores. 

3. Haslet

A type of pork loaf also flavoured with sage. ‘Haslet’ comes from the Old French word hastilles meaning ‘entrails’— honestly, it’s a lot tastier than it sounds!

4. Stuffed Chine

A cut of pork taken from between the shoulder blades (the chine), salted for up to ten months, stuffed with parsley, and served cold. Each butcher’s recipe is unique and ingredients are often kept secret.

5. Yellowbelly Cheese

The namesake for a Lincolnshire local, Cote Hill Yellowbelly is matured in its yellow wax which retains the moisture developing a luscious, buttery texture and subtle tang.

Available to purchase online , at the Cote Hill  farm shop, or at selected Lincolnshire Co-op  stores.

6. Local Spirits
