Lincoln Cathedral’s much anticipated flower festival, Vision 2021, will bring the already stunning building to life with stunning floral displays in every corner.

Enjoy more than 130 spectacular arrangements in the stunning setting of Lincoln Cathedral.

Vision 2021, the theme for the year, celebrates the life and vision of St Hugh, Bishop of Lincoln from 1200 to 1220 who was responsible for the rebuilding of Lincoln Cathedral following an earthquake in 1185.

Other notable visionaries who have made a significant impact on Lincolnshire and beyond will also feature in the stunning floral creations. Displays will covering the arts, film, fashion, history, world exploration and more.

From the Pilgrim Fathers journey to the New World, to Harry Potter, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The festival is set to take place between Thursday 29th July and Monday 2nd August 2021.

A special preview evening will take place on Wednesday 28 July, where visitors can enjoy drinks and canapés whilst getting the exclusive opportunity to see the beautiful blooms on display before the event opens to the public.

This awe-inspiring event will have another dimension on the evening of Friday 30 July, when talented musicians create an uplifting musical backdrop for you to enjoy as you take in the splendour of the flower festival.

Engage all your senses for a unique musical experience: ‘Musical Meander’ , plus, follow a tour around the Cathedral and take in the colourful arrangements and learn about the themes behind them.

As the Cathedral is a working church, please be aware the event will be closed 4pm – 6.30pm on Saturday and 3pm – 5pm on Sunday to allow services to take place.

Tickets to the preview evening on Wednesday 28 July will be £25 which includes drinks and canapés, and entry to the Musical Meander on Friday 30 July will be £30.
