Get ready to step back in time and experience the nostalgia of the 1940s at Sleaford's exciting themed day with a Spitfire flypast!
After last year's successful event, Sleaford Town Council and William Alvey School have joined forces again to bring you another fantastic day of entertainment and activities.
Live singers and entertainers will transport you back in time, while Punch & Judy shows and living history displays will give you a taste of what life was like during the war. Take a tour of the air raid shelters and see historic vehicles on display, from military jeeps to vintage cars.
There will be plenty of stalls selling all sorts of vintage wares, as well as food and drink to keep you fuelled throughout the day. Have your face painted or your hair styled by a vintage hairstylist, and try your hand at vintage games and balloon modelling.
And what's a 1940s day without some dancing? Put on your dancing shoes and take part in the fun. This is an event for all ages, so bring the whole family and make a day of it.
Don't miss out on this exciting event that's sure to be a blast from the past. Come along and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the 1940s, and make some memories to treasure.
