The Royal Air Force Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre keeps history alive. BBMF is one of the most treasured hangars in the Royal Air Force. It is a fully working hangar for an operational flight of the Royal Air Force with breathtaking history.
Security Notice
RAF Coningsby is a military environment so no bags are permitted on public tours. There is no secure storage on site but phones, cameras, wallets and purses are allowed and can be carried in a small carrier bag.

The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre is a unique and special aviation heritage site housing the Lancaster PA474, Douglas Dakota ZA 947, six spitfires, two hurricanes and two chipmunks inside the hangar.
Experience exclusive up-close access to these famous aircrafts that are well-known for appearing in British state occasions, notably Queen Elizabeth II’s Trooping of the Colour as well as attending other key international events.
