Louth and District Concert Society is excited to present up-and-coming guitar virtuoso Arie Dakesian.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon to an Armenian family, Arie picked up his first guitar at the age of six and hasn’t left it since. He is now in his final year of undergraduate studies at the Royal College of Music.
After studying in both Lebanon and Armenia, in 2020 Arie was awarded a scholarship at the Royal College of Music in London. He will graduate this year, and his recent performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Kings Place, and the Wigmore Hall point to an extraordinary career ahead.
At this afternoon's concert you will hear works by Francisco Tarrega, Guilio Regondi, Emilio Pujol, Joaquin Rodrigo, Benjamin Britten, and more.
