Workshops, Talks, Tours & Markets

Whether you’re a novice or an expert, be amazed by the intricate detail and level of skill required by some of these longstanding techniques showcased during the Heritage Skills Festival in Gainsborough this September.

The festival will start with a Heritage Skills Fair on Saturday 16 September from 9:00 - 15:00, with a range of demonstrations with opportunities to have a go yourself, guided tours and a chance to buy unique hand-made items.

Throughout the week, the festival continues with a series of FREE workshops and illustrated talks from Lime Mortar Rendering, Sash Window Repair, and Restoring & Looking After Our Built Heritage, to Stained Glass Window and Fused Glass Workshops, Leatherwork Tasters, Traditional Children's Crafts, Dancing with Jane Austen and much more.
