Explore Gainsborough's monthly Farmers' and Crafts Market - offering the best in fresh, local, homemade and handmade produce from a variety of traders, and a special Literature Village joining for September.
This month’s Gainsborough Farmers' and Craft market will be supported by Newark Book Festival with market stalls dedicated to all things book related. Find authors and poets promoting their work as well as readings and storytelling. There will be publishers, booksellers, illustrators, craft makers and book-themed products.
Earthbound Misfits’ fantastical ‘Crab and Crumb' will also be there trading their weird and wonderful wares.
Enjoy a day out and explore the historic town centre with its independent shops and Marshall’s Yard shopping centre within easy walking distance. Gainsborough is also home to the magnificent Gainsborough Old Hall as well as other nearby attractions.
The market is held on the second Saturday of the month from 9:00 to 14:00.
