Step inside one of Stamford’s most beautiful historic buildings and uncover the stories hidden behind its grand Georgian façade.
Our free guided tours explore the role the Town Hall has played in Stamford’s rich and fascinating history. The beautiful Grade II* listed building on St Mary’s Hill is home to a surviving Georgian gaol, famous paintings, magnificent silver regalia and a historic Courtroom, among many other incredible features.
Led by our knowledgeable volunteer guides, the tour reveals parts of the building not normally open to the public and brings to life over 500 years of Stamford’s civic history.
