Lincoln Jazz Festival hosted at Lincoln Cathedral returns for another exciting year, with a full programme of jazz and gospel in a stunning setting.
Since Medieval times, Gregorian Chant and Polyphonic music has resonated within the walls of this spectacular gothic cathedral. This July Lincoln Cathedral plays host to a weekend festival of Jazz and Gospel music featuring leading musicians from the UK and overseas.
Brought to the city by Lincoln Jazz in partnership with Lincoln Cathedral and with support from local businesses and East Midlands Jazz, all the events take place in and around the Cathedral making full use of the new Visitor Centre facilities set in the popular Cathedral Quarter including the Castle, the famous Steep Hill, Bailgate shopping together with many cafes, restaurants, hotels and pubs.
