Scawby Hall is a Grade 1 listed Jacobean built by the Nelthorpe family and lived in by them ever since. The house has a treasure of fine art, furniture and porcelain as well as many rich stories of family members illustrated by portraits. The 3 acre kitchen garden at Scawby Hall is also a delight, filled with espalier fruit trees and beautiful borders. The neighbouring church, St Hybalds, opens for refreshments when Scawby Hall is open for visitors.
