Join in with the fun at the Festival of the Sea at Alexandra Dock along the waterfront near Grimsby Fishing Heritage Centre and Fisherman's Wharf for interactive theatre, live music, dance, market stalls and food & drink, plus drop-in workshops and activities for the entire family to enjoy.

WHAT'S ON: FESTIVAL OF THE SEA

With a community-led programme of live music, arts and crafts, street theatre and walkabout acts, the one-day free festival is a highlight in the diary for Grimsby.

Enjoy interactive theatre shows, live music, and dance from talented local and national artists at Alexandra Dock waterfront during the day. There'll be activities for young people, families and friends, on site, or sign up for one of the walks to discover more about Grimsby's heritage. 

Drop-in craft workshop sessions taking place throughout the fishing town's festival will get you engaged in hands-on activities on Grimsby's historical moments, including finding out how the fish gets to your plate.
