Engage the senses at Belton this autumn and plan a family visit to take part in outdoor autumnal activities, nature arts and crafts and a tree trail.
With the estate looking resplendent in shades of auburn and gold, plan your autumnal family visit to Belton this October and make the most of your day out with the kids. A walk through the parkland will provide a feast for the senses, with deer entering the rut and bursts of autumnal colour as far as the eye can see.
Shades of Belton: Just like nature, the collection has transformed over time. Colour match your way around the mansion and discover how we care for the collection as it changes. The mansion is open for free-flow visits, Thursday – Monday, 11:00 – 16:00 (last entry 15.30).
Tree Trail: Back by popular demand - the tree trail has made a return to Belton's Autumn Adventures! Pick up your guide and discover an impressive range of trees within the gardens at Belton.
Natural Art: Unleash your inner artist and create pictures and sculptures out of natural materials like leaves, twigs, and pinecones. Head to the Estate Yard to get creative!
Leaf Art (from 13 October): Indulge in the splendid colours of autumn and go on a hunt for the biggest and brightest leaves you can find. Once you’ve made your selection, head to the East Lawn to add to Belton’s leaf art. Why not pick up a spotter’s guide from Visitor Reception to learn your leaves?
