Have you ever witnessed the sun setting from Bellmount, near Belton House? Why not join one of their Walk Leaders on a leisurely evening walk, and enjoy stunning views while learning about the local wildlife and history.

During the walk you may go up to Londonthorpe Village and see some spectacular vistas, or the walk leader may lead you around Londonthorpe Woods, before heading up into Bellmount Plantation and round to Bellmount Tower to witness the sunset. Hopefully, you will be able to enter the Tower, but due to renovation work the Tower may be closed. The views are just as exciting from the foot of the tower, however.

Accessibility: This event is on unsurfaced and uneven ground, meaning it is not wheelchair accessible. There are stiles.

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed as there is grazing livestock along the route.

Distance: 2.5 to 3 miles. Duration: 2 - 2.5 hours
