Harlaxton Manor Summer Open House

Aug 26
26th August 2023 - 27th August 2023

Come and experience the magic of Harlaxton Manor this August Bank Holiday weekend as the gates to this enchanting estate open to the public. Step into a world of wonder as they explore the stunning staterooms and breathtaking gardens of this historic gem located in the south Lincolnshire countryside near Grantham.

This rare and exciting opportunity to explore Harlaxton Manor is not to be missed. Normally closed to visitors as it is home to international students from the University of Evansville, the Manor only opens its doors on certain dates throughout the year.

Constructed in 1831, Harlaxton Manor is a true architectural marvel, fusing Jacobean, Elizabethan, and Baroque styles to create a majestic house unlike any other. The Manor's gardens are a wonderland of natural beauty and charm, with French terraces, an Italian garden, a Dutch canal, and an observatory all waiting to be discovered.

Throughout the August Bank Holiday Weekend, take part and play traditional garden games, and enjoy the sound of a pianist filling the air with uplifting and inspiring tunes, as you indulge in a selection of hot and cold refreshments, including delicious ice cream.
