One of the UK’s biggest ever exhibitions documenting the Street Art movement, featuring original Banksy artworks, plus over 90 world-famous artists including KAWS, Blek le Rat, Tracey Emin, Damien Hirst and Rachel List.
Join 20-21 Visual Arts Centre for their New Icons exhibition this summer and autumn - one of the UK's biggest ever exhibitions documenting the Street Art movement, and artists that influenced or are associated with it.
Featuring some of the biggest names in Street and YBA art (Young British Artists who rose to fame in the 1990s/2000) – many of which have captured the attention of the public and mass-media across the globe. The exhibition features over 90 works by some of the world’s most famous artists including Banksy, KAWS, Blek le Rat, Tracey Emin, Rachel List, Invader, Damien Hirst and Pure Evil.
The atmospheric nave of the Grade II* listed former church building at 20-21 has been chosen as the perfect place to display the artworks, which are on loan from John Brandler, one of the world’s biggest street art collectors.
The exhibition highlights Banksy’s iconic ‘Hula Girl’, along with other paintings and over 20 prints and editions by the artist. All the artworks included in the New Icons exhibition are for sale, with prints and editions available too.
