A celebration of pre-war motorsport, set within the historic Grimsthorpe Castle estate in Lincolnshire in its 3000 acres.

Curated as a celebration of the charm of prewar cars and motorcycles, the hallmark event in the market town of Bourne's calendar will transport you back in time to the pioneering days of British motorsport. Upholding Grimsthorpe’s rich legacy of motorsport, which began in 1903 with the first timed runs in the old deer park, hosted by the Lincolnshire Automobile Club.

Be immersed in a community of experts. Whether you’re an entrant or a visitor, meet like-minded enthusiasts with a passion for pre-war motorsports. Get up close to their vehicles and admire rare machinery. And if you own your own classic car, you're invited to exhibit in the Grimsthorpe Courtyard throughout the day. 

With many visitors opting to wear period clothing on the day, you’ll feel truly transported to the pre-war era. Don your favourite frocks and dress to the nines for the Grimsthorpe Vintage Speed Trials this July.

Disabled parking is available closer to the ticket gate. Please note that some parking will be on grass.

You are welcome to bring along picnic rugs/chairs. Please dress in 1930s attire to add to the ambience of the day!

Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed in the grounds during this event.
