As part of the West Lindsey Wolds WordFest, Loretta Rivett will be delivering a talk about all things Lincolnshire (naturally for a yeller-belly) and literary.
Of course we will have some Tennyson, but also Lincolnshire's less well-known writer Bernard Samuel Gilbert (a taster for Professor Andrew Jackson's talk on Saturday 11th July as part of WordFest), as well as poets and writers with links to our County.
Lincolnshire was once described as a 'brute and beastly shire' and 'on the road to nowhere'.
Come along and hear more about the writers and poets who have put pen to paper about our County.
