This 7.6 hectare wood boasting beautiful broadleaf woodland, providing habitats for various wildlife and featuring a retro cinema experience on-site, known as the Kinema in the Woods. The Pinewoods is a hidden gem with a rich and interesting history.

Hidden gem in the middle of charming historic village
Enjoy accessible walks for all to enjoy with various access points. The ideal setting for the nature lover, this woodland is grey squirrel galore as well as being home to the rarer Spotted Woodpecker, Muntjac and Treecreeper. There is also a multitude of flora to look out for, including various fungi, Sycamore, Chestnut and Hornbeam. The woodland was a favourite relaxation spot in the Victorian times and key hiding place for ammunition and vehicles in WW2.
