Wolds WordFest is delighted to welcome Ayesha Chouglay writer and multimedia artist for a poetic journey through the Lincolnshire Wolds. Ayesha will read selections from her poetry created for the Nature Calling programme, discuss her creative process, and guide a practical writing exercise to support you to write in this landscape.
Ayesha Chouglay, is a writer and multimedia artist with mixed heritage, using her work to open up safe spaces for conversation. She explores her perception of the world through the lens of her disabilities - she identifies as deaf. Ayesha is new to nature writing and her relationship with the Lincolnshire Wolds comes from past generations of her family, and wanting to question what it means to belong in a place you don’t come from.
The event is free but must places must be booked on line via the Book Now button.
