Join Dr Caroline Mogg for this fascinating talk about 19th Century women landowners in North Lincolnshire.
Hear about Ann Dixon, owner of the Dixon estate at Holton Le Moor, who built houses for the estate workers and brought water from the Wolds; and Elizabeth Borrell who ran estates at Grainsby and Holton le Clay among others.
The talk is free but please ensure you have booked a place via the link on Eventbrite.
Dr Mogg was the lead researcher for the Wolds Women of Influence project; read about some of the remarkable histories of women she researched on the Market Rasen Heritage Trail.
This event will take place at The Moot Hall in Holton le Moor on the 9th July.
