Get ready for an exciting weekend at the South Ormsby Estate Open Weekend, taking place during the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival with tours, walks, flora and fauna and entertainment for the entire family.
One of the main highlights of the event are the guided walks, which will take visitors on a journey through the stunning AONB countryside as part of the Lincolnshire Wolds Outdoor Festival. These walks are a fantastic way to explore the natural beauty of the estate itself and learn about the local flora and fauna and Lincolnshire's wildlife. Three different walks will be taking place over the weekend, including a history walk, an estate walk, and a walk to explore the wider landscape.
The open weekend also features an amazing range of stalls offering a variety of products, from unique crafts to delicious food and drink. Whether you're in the mood for a bite to eat or some retail therapy, there's something for everyone. You can even try your hand at laser clay pigeon shooting, too!
For families with children, there are plenty of games and entertainment options to keep the little ones happy and engaged. Lincoln artist known for her animal portraits, Rachel Spencer, will also be running a workshop on how to draw the gardener's best friend ‘Robin Red Breast’. Bring along your camera and join a tour and chat with experienced members of the Louth Photographic Society about outdoor and wildlife photography.
Look out for Lincolnshire Storyteller Keith Butters in his iconic yellow waistcoat and black hat - he will be joining the event on Saturday and has a few classic tales from the estate to share.
