1940s Weekend

IBCC Salute to the 40s Weekend

Aug 12
12th August 2023 - 13th August 2023

Enjoy live music, dancing, WWII vehicle displays, period reenactments, market stalls & much more at the annual IBCC 1940s Weekend.

Come along and enjoy tea and cake on vintage crockery in the Marquee while listening to our wide variety of 40s entertainment. Stroll around the grounds of the International Bomber Command Centre and chat with the re-enactors, or treat yourself to something stylish and vintage from one of the many trade stands.

Vehicle enthusiasts will be wowed by the wonderful selection of 1940s cars and military vehicles on display throughout the weekend's event. And, with talks on bomb disposal and Mission briefings, there really is something for everyone!

Why not make the most of the weekend and book tickets to one or more of the IBCC's special 1940s events:

Friday 11th August: BBQ & Dance with Johnny Victory

Saturday 12th August: Blackout Blitz Ball with Kalamazoo

Sunday 13th August: 1940s Vintage Afternoon Tea and Dance with ENSA performer, Samantha

All funds raised at events like these are used to deliver the education and community programmes run by the IBCC.
