Join the International Bomber Command Centre for their 4th Salute to the 40s weekend, 12th – 14th August.

Enjoy tea and cake on vintage crockery in the Marquee while listening to a wide variety of 40s entertainment. Stroll around the grounds and chat period Re-enactors or treat yourself to something stylish and vintage from one of the many trade stands. Vehicle enthusiasts will be wowed by the selection of 1940s cars and military vehicles. With talks on bomb disposal and Mission briefings there really is something for everyone!

As part of the Salute to the 40s event, there are a series of extra experiences for you to enjoy too:

40s BBQ
Friday 12th August, 6pm - 9pm
Stay for a delicious evening BBQ to end the first day of the weekend’s festivities, with a wide range of stalls and displays around the extensive gardens, including vintage vehicles and re-enactors. Don’t forget to bring your dancing shoes as Johnny will be encouraging you to jump and jive to his swinging sounds into the night.

IBCC Blackout Blitz Ball
Saturday 13th August, 7.30pm - midnight
An evening of fun and frollics with the Kalamazoo Bank whilst also enjoying a fabulous 2-course dinner at the International Bomber Command Centre.

Vintage Afternoon Tea & Music
Sunday 14th August, 2.30pm - 4.30pm
Taking place in the Marquee during the final day of the Salute to the 40s event, join in for a special IBCC vintage afternoon tea served on their best china! Sit back and enjoy the dulcet tones of Samantha, the ENSA singer, as she performs all your 40s favourites.
