Wilder Doddington Mini Bus Safari

Join Wilder Doddington for a bespoke Wilder minibus tour and presentation at Wilder Doddington. Your morning will start with refreshments and a presentation from the Wilder Team, then you will be taken to key sites in our minibus to see the highlights of the wilder side of Doddington. You will explore the rapidly changing landscape and see the nature that is returning to Wilder Doddington. This is a chance to leave the public areas of the estate with the Wilder Team for a relaxed exploration.

You will marvel at the mosaic of habitats being created by Wilder Doddington’s roaming rare breed cattle, wild Exmoor ponies and curly coated pigs. You may catch sight of them along with deer, hares or a slow worm or two. You will see features rarely seen, explaining their value to beetles, butterflies, birds, bats and your own well-being. 

You will be able to discuss the processes involved in rewilding, species reintroduction and learn about the exciting projects ahead such as the stage zero rewetting ‘Wetter Better’ plans.

Ideas will be shared for you to take away and put into practice in your own homes and outside spaces.
