IBCC Book Festival – Women in War – A Proud Generation
To mark the unveiling of our new Women in War exhibition at the Memorial Spire, we are delighted to welcome a host of fabulous female authors for our inaugural book festival. The Women in War exhibition features 9 steel silhouettes of incredible women created by the team from Standing With Giants who were responsible for the stunning D-Day display in Normandy in 2024.
The Festival takes place over two days and features a variety of themed sessions:
An audience with Candy Adkins – daughter of Jackie Moggeridge, ATA member and the UK’s first female commercial airline pilot and Liz McElwee, daughter of Flt Lt George Milson DFC, a POW. Ticket price includes a complimentary tea or coffee.
