Join the team at Doddington for a unique off-road safari to see the ‘Big 3’ pioneering eco-engineers at Doddington. Lions and rhino can’t be guaranteed, but there will be no shortage of wildlife action along the way.
For this outdoor adventure, the guides will take you in one of the vehicles to see the Lincoln Red cattle, Exmoor ponies and charismatic pigs out in the wild. Once you’ve tracked them down, you will have the chance to discover more about the roles they play in creating the unique landscape – and making Doddington wilder!
This is a rare chance to leave the public footpaths with the Wilder Team, explore the rapidly changing landscape and see the nature that is returning to Wilder Doddington.
Please note: Please be prepared to do some walking on uneven ground as it may not be possible to get the vehicles close to the animals on the day.

• Whatever the weather you will take a walk with several stops. The minibus may be used to reach remoter parts of the Wilding.
• Regrettably, the surfaces are incredibly uneven so cannot cater for wheelchairs
• Please dress appropriately for the weather and ground conditions. Long trousers and long sleeves along with suitable footwear are a requirement for a comfortable visit. Bring waterproofs if wet or cold.
• Much of the wildlife enjoys its entire life on the ground. Please don’t bring your dog – it may disturb what you hope to see.
• All guests must be over 16yrs. 16-18 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
