The third Lincoln Jazz Festival weekend takes place in Lincoln’s spectacular Cathedral on 19th/20th/21st July, 2024. This historic landmark once again plays host to leading national and international jazz musicians, continuing the Cathedral’s centuries-old tradition of celebrating live music.
New Jazz5 and Jazzpac have curated an exciting range of jazz styles and personalities, combining ticketed and free-to-enter events. They include Friday night’s opening by the James Taylor Quartet in the Nave, a Jazz Carnival parade featuring local school children in the Cathedral grounds, performances by Italian guitarist Antonio Forcione, New York-based vibes player Joe Locke, world-renowned saxophonist Tim Garland, Lincoln’s own pianist Tom Cawley plus the festival’s Artistic Director trombonist Dennis Rollins MBE in the Cathedral’s stunning Chapter House.
