Join Wilder Doddington this February half-term for a family-friendly campfire adventure in the woods.
Ever tried pancakes cooked over an open fire? Wrap up warm and head out into the woods with Doddington’s Wilder team to learn a few basic woodland skills as you celebrate Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday). Discover how to light a fire safely and have a go at building a simple shelter. Then gather around the campfire for a hot drink and a freshly cooked pancake.

The session will go ahead whatever the weather (let’s hope for glorious sunshine though). Please check the forecast before setting off and come prepared.
Please dress for the weather and ground conditions. Long trousers and robust walking shoes or wellies that can get muddy are essential for a comfortable visit. Bring waterproofs if it is wet or cold.
