"The Ship" is one of the oldest pubs in the village of Chapel St Leonards, and some people believe it to be haunted! Built during the early 19th Century, The Ship is located in the quieter area of this popular holiday resort, on the road from Chapel St Leonards to Hogsthorpe, next to Willoughby Drain, and it offers a warm welcome to residents and visitors all year round.
In winter, you can relax in front of the open coal fires, taking in the friendly atmosphere that this traditional pub brings.
The Staff would love to welcome you to join them and sample the fine ales, lagers, wines and spirits. They are happy to accept your dog in the pub, as long as he is kept on a lead and is well behaved.
There is musical entertainment most weekends, and a folk sing-along each month. Please check the diary on the website for what's coming up.
The Ship is a member of the Freedom Caravan and Camping Club, and have a small five pitch site at the rear of the pub (which is close to the bus route between Skegness and Mablethorpe, and also local shops and amenities). All caravans and camper vans are welcome, but please ring to check availability.
